What to Look for When Choosing a Gym in Fayetteville.

What to Look for When Choosing a Gym in Fayetteville!

This is a really big decision for you to make, so don’t make it hastily. You’re going to have to spend some money, some time commuting and regularly interact with the staff and fellow gym members. The gym for most people becomes a large part of their life and hence why it’s important to find the one that fits YOUR needs the best. Any time you are spending money on something you want to get what you’re paying for, use it often and know that you made the right decision.

Some of the big-ticket items that people look at right away are COST and LOCATION. I know that’s what I would look at first too. It’s significantly easier to go to a gym that is on the way to or from work. Convenience is key for people to stick to doing something. However if a gym has a vibe to it, great members and great coaching, people typically will make the few mile commute to get there. Being located right outside the Reilly Gate for Fort Bragg we have plenty of male and female soldiers that take advantage of us to enhance their operational fitness on their way into work, on their way home and plenty that live on post and pop off to come train.

When it comes to pricing you can find a wide variety of price ranges from $10 – $300 per month depending on where you go.   And those gyms that offer membership for $10 – $50 either offer Pizza and Bagel days and don’t typically care about you and hope 80% of their members don’t show. It’s a numbers game for them to make money. We WANT you here, because we care about you and want to help you achieve your goals, not fill you up with Pizza after walking on a treadmill. Plus I love coaching so I want to coach you!  Do we cost more than $10, yes, but here you pay for great coaching, an awesome training environment, cool people, results driven programming, schedule options and variety.

Our GYM is set up with lots of open space, barbells, bumper plates, medicine balls, a pull-up rig, squat stands and kettlebells. Take a look through our pics on FACEBOOK. Very minimalistic yes, but also very effective when it comes to training and getting the results that you want. By taking a more functional approach to training we are able to maximize your time in the gym while setting you up to successfully crush your goals. We do that with VARIETY. We offer CrossFit, Olympic Weightlifting and Strength & Conditioning Training Blocks daily. No matter the program you choose, we have structure and our #1 goal is “Do No Harm”. If you get hurt you can’t train or do your job. So we spend time every session to work on injury prevention, mobility, core conditioning and movement preparation.

So in closing, if you’re looking to shed a few pounds, get in kick ass shape, look great in a bikini, improve your Olympic Weightlifting, do some CrossFit or maximize your potential in Strength & Conditioning, GPS Human Performance: Home of CrossFit Reilly is your place!

If you’re interested in checking us out, we do offer a FREE Intro Class Saturdays at 11:30am – 12:30 pm (CLICK To REGISTER), as well as Drop-Ins (CLICK To REGISTER) during our regularly scheduled training times to let you come in and get a taste of us…trust me, we taste way better than FREE Globo-Gym Pizza.
